Germany launches PNOG-down.de site to explain upcoming care reorganization law

On 9 July 2026, the Bundesvereinigung der Senioren‑Assistenten Deutschland (BdSAD) announced the launch of PNOG‑down.de, an online portal that presents the draft Pflege‑Neuordnungsgesetz (PNOG) in clear, fact‑based language. The site outlines the proposed changes and their likely effects on people needing care, their families and ambulatory services, and offers a template that visitors can use to convey personal concerns directly to policy makers.

BdSAD board chair Carolin Favretto praised the portal as a tool for transparency and civic participation, saying that “care policy affects millions and must be understandable so that those affected can have their voice heard.” The initiative calls on senior assistants, caregivers, care recipients, relatives and the wider public to review the draft and engage in the legislative discussion.
