Germany: Multiple arrests for driving under the influence in Greiz, Eisenach, and Wolfsburg

Police in several German regions have reported multiple incidents involving driving under the influence of alcohol and illegal substances.

In the Greiz district, authorities intercepted a 22-year-old driver in Greiz who tested positive for various illegal substances. Additionally, a 32-year-old driver on the B 94 near Göttendorf was found to have a blood alcohol level of 1.31 per mille along with drugs in his system.

In Eisenach, a 21-year-old operating a rental e-scooter was caught with a blood alcohol level of 1.22 per mille. Meanwhile, in Wolfsburg, police conducted three separate checks resulting in the identification of three intoxicated drivers: a 40-year-old on a moped (1.36 per mille), a 36-year-old on an e-scooter (0.95 per mille), and a 21-year-old motorist (1.04 per mille).
