Germany: National prayer night called to support Israel

The organization ‘Christians at Israel’s Side’ (CSI) has called for a national prayer night in Germany to take place on October 7. Under the motto ‘And you shall love,’ the event aims to mobilize Christians to pray for Israel and stand against antisemitism.

The theme references an artistic tribute following the Hamas massacre at the Nova Festival on October 7, 2023, where the Hebrew words ‘we‘ahavta’ (‘And you shall love’) were written on charred vehicles. The event is co-organized by the Bible podcast ‘bibletunes’ and the Christian Guest Center Württemberg ‘Schönblick.’

The program will feature various biblical text studies led by Pastor Tobias Krämer and Pastor Bettina Auerswald, with opening remarks by CSI Chairman Christian Frach.
