Germany expands multiple food recalls over Norovirus, contaminants and undeclared drugs

German authorities and retailers have issued three separate food‑safety recalls.

Lidl’s nationwide recall concerns the Freshona Bio Beerenmischung frozen‑berry mix produced by Jütro Tiefkühlkost. Several batches (e.g., L180426H3, L190426N3, L220226P3, L030326Z3, L150426P3) may be contaminated with norovirus, which can cause acute vomiting‑diarrhoea, especially dangerous for infants, pregnant women, the elderly and the ill. Consumers are advised not to eat the product and to return it to any Lidl store for a full refund, even without a receipt.

Peter Kölln GmbH & Co. KG has recalled its Zauberfleks Schoko cereal (375 g) from the L6165 charge (MHD 17 Apr 2027) because foreign objects from the production process cannot be ruled out. The recall applies to supermarkets such as Rewe, Edeka and Kaufland across Germany. The product should not be consumed; it can be returned for reimbursement.

The Schleswig‑Holstein consumer‑protection ministry warned that the “Royal Honey The Ultimate Power Source” honey from Malaysia contains undeclared pharmaceutical ingredients, including a prescription‑only potency drug and a pain‑relief medication. Sold mainly online nationwide, the product poses risks of cardiovascular problems and severe side‑effects. Users should discard the honey, seek medical advice if symptoms appear, and can claim a refund.

All three recalls stress that the affected items are excluded from further sales and that refunds are available without a receipt.
