Germany Police Search for Missing Young Women in Hannover and Berlin
Police in Thuringia are leading a public search for 21‑year‑old Julia K., who has been missing from Hannover‑Linden since 2 August 2026. Authorities believe she may also be in the Eichsfeld area and have posted a photo, asking anyone with information to call 0511 109‑3915 or the emergency number 110.
In Berlin, the police announced that the whereabouts of a 16‑year‑old girl from Charlottenburg‑Wilmersdorf, missing since 1 April after leaving a youth‑care facility on Mindener Straße, have now been clarified. A public appeal with photos was issued on 17 July, and the investigation has confirmed her location, ending the search.
Both cases illustrate ongoing efforts by German police forces to locate missing youths and encourage public assistance.
