Germany regional initiatives offer heat pump and energy consulting

Various regional initiatives in Germany are providing citizens with information and consulting services regarding the transition to sustainable heating technologies, specifically heat pumps.

In the Steinfurt district, the SHK Guild of Steinfurt and the energieland2050 association are organizing a district-wide heat pump information day. Scheduled for November 10, 2026, in Lengerich, the event aims to provide neutral guidance for homeowners and builders. Topics include heat pump technology, integration with photovoltaic systems, noise protection, and available financial subsidies.

In Upper Franconia, the municipalities of Röthenbach, Schwaig, Leinburg, and Rückersdorf are offering free, independent energy consulting in collaboration with the Energieagentur Oberfranken e. V. An introductory event titled ‘Heat Pumps in Existing Buildings’ is set for December 8 in Röthenbach. The program focuses on heating modernization, thermal insulation, and renewable energy options to help residents avoid costly mistakes during renovations.
