Germany reports multiple violent crimes and assaults
Various violent incidents and crimes have been reported across several German regions.
In Schwaig, near Nuremberg, police have launched a public manhunt for a 22-year-old suspect accused of attempted manslaughter. The incident occurred on a company premises where a dispute between two employees of an external cleaning firm escalated. After an initial physical altercation, the suspect allegedly returned with a knife and inflicted serious facial injuries on a 21-year-old colleague.
In Jena, a man was injured by glass shards during an attack in Ludwig-Weimar-Gasse. The assailant reportedly broke a glass bottle and used it to strike the victim multiple times, including on the head. Police are currently searching for a female witness who was cycling at the time of the incident.
In the Ostalbkreis region, a 39-year-old man sustained significant injuries after being punched in the face by an unknown assailant in a restaurant in Aalen. Additionally, authorities reported property damage in Aalen involving eight smashed window panes and several traffic collisions resulting in minor injuries and vehicle damage. A restaurant in Wasseralfingen also experienced a fire caused by a dryer in its basement.
