Germany reports multiple violent incidents including knife attacks

Several violent incidents involving knives and weapons have been reported across various German cities. In Düsseldorf, a 28-year-old man was critically injured in a knife attack near the main station; police have arrested an 18-year-old German national and a 21-year-old Polish national in connection with the assault.

Berlin experienced three separate knife attacks in a single evening across the Prenzlauer Berg, Tempelhof, and Lichtenberg districts, resulting in three serious injuries and several arrests. In Hamburg, authorities are investigating a shooting in Steilshoop that injured a 21-year-old, as well as a life-threatening knife attack on an 18-year-old at a playground in Volksdorf.

Other regional reports include a stabbing in Halle (Saale) where a 41-year-old man was arrested following a dispute in an apartment, and a knife attack in Barth, Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, involving a 17-year-old. In Dortmund, a man successfully defended himself against an attempted robbery involving a knife.
