Germany reports two serious motorcycle collisions with severe injuries

A 59‑year‑old motorcyclist was seriously injured after his bike left a right‑hand curve on the K4367 near Enzklösterle, Germany, and collided with an oncoming Opel. The rider was air‑lifted by a rescue helicopter to a hospital, while the car driver sustained minor injuries. Police closed the road for about 90 minutes and opened an investigation, noting no signs of external fault.

In Völkershausen, a 55‑year‑old motorcyclist suffered severe injuries when a 61‑year‑old driver backing out of a driveway failed to see him and struck the bike. The motorcyclist was also flown to a hospital by helicopter. Both vehicles incurred damage and police have begun inquiries into the accidents' causes.
