Nineteen of the thirty surveyed destinations are more expensive than a year earlier, with the steepest hikes in Alpine regions and major cities – Garmisch‑Partenkirchen, for example, spikes 37.4% to €246.

Conversely, several north‑sea and Baltic locations become cheaper. Sankt Peter‑Ording drops 16.9% to €129, Lübeck falls 9% to €144 and the broader Nordsee area is down 5.2% to €130.
