Germany selects national team for 2026 Motocross of Nations

The German national team for the 2026 Monster Energy FIM Motocross of Nations has been announced. Riders Tom Koch, Maximilian Spies, and Valentin Kees will represent Germany in Ernée, France, from October 2 to 4.

Team managers Marcel Dornhöfer and Karsten Schneider have selected a younger roster following the unavailability of several top riders. Ken Roczen is unable to participate due to contractual obligations in the United States, while Simon Längenfelder must undergo surgery, and veteran Maximilian Nagl is sidelined with a knee injury.

Koch and Spies will compete on 450cc motorcycles, with their specific assignments in the MXGP and Open classes to be determined. Valentin Kees will compete in the MX2 category, marking his first appearance at the MXoN. Despite the absence of former world champions, management expressed confidence in the team's ability to deliver a strong performance.
