Germany to air World Cup 2026 matches on ARD, ZDF and MagentaTV

World Cup 2026 ARD ZDF MagentaTV German TV broadcast

The 2026 FIFA World Cup runs from 11 June to 19 July across the United States, Canada and Mexico. In Germany, public broadcasters ARD and ZDF will show roughly 60 of the 104 games free‑to‑air, including every match of the German national team, the opening match, both semi‑finals and the final.

Private platform MagentaTV will be the only service to stream all 104 matches live. The coverage lineup includes former players and analysts such as Thomas Müller, Mats Hummels, Laura Wontorra and other commentators who will host studio shows and provide match analysis.
