Germany to establish ‘German House’ at Davos World Economic Forum
The German federal government is increasing its promotional efforts for Germany as a business location by establishing a ‘German House’ at the World Economic Forum in Davos in January 2027. A spokesperson for Digital Minister Karsten Wildberger confirmed the plans, which are being co-driven by Wildberger and Economic Minister Katherina Reiche.
The lease for the facility has been signed. Located on the promenade in immediate proximity to the main congress center, the German House aims to centralize Germany’s presence at the forum. The initiative is designed to present the country to international decision-makers as an attractive investment destination, a strong economic and technological hub, and a reliable partner.
The venue is intended to host both public discussions and confidential meetings, facilitating partnership agreements and investments. Other federal ministries have also been invited to participate in the initiative.
