Germany's 2026 Inclusive Sports Weeks Boost Participation for All

The German Disabled Sports Association (Deutscher Behindertensportverband, DBS) will hold the fourth "SportWoche für Alle" from 19 to 26 September 2026. The nationwide programme offers free, inclusive sport activities such as wheelchair basketball, sitting volleyball, goalball and other disciplines, inviting people with and without disabilities to try the events.

From 20 to 24 July 2026, TeamSportPark hosted a regional movement week organised by the Stiftung Anstoß zum Leben. Over 500 participants of all ages took part in barrier‑free activities, including a children’s olympics, a football mini‑World Cup, a rally treasure hunt and a variety of fitness classes. The week highlighted the demand for free, inclusive sport opportunities and fostered community spirit across the region.
