German public broadcasters revamp schedules and debut new crime series

ZDF announced several programme adjustments for weeks 26 to 31 of 2026, moving shows such as "Die Küchenschlacht" and "SOKO Stuttgart: Vermächtnis" to new timeslots and adding new documentaries on topics like a summer swimming pool conflict, life on a camping site and an Alpine holiday. The network also slated a live rowing semi‑final for its sports studio.

The channel will air a new episode of "Wahre Verbrechen" on 29 June 2026, presenting three true‑crime cases: a director’s murder in Vienna/Budapest, a gold‑theft linked to a bank manager’s death in Tirol, and a shooting at a Berlin martial‑arts school.

Rundfunk Berlin‑Brandenburg began filming the upcoming "Tatort: Zwei minus Eins gleich Null" on 16 June 2026. Directed by Mira Thiel and starring Mark Waschke as detective Robert Karow, the series revisits an unsolved serial‑killer case and includes returning actor Boris Aljinovic. Shooting takes place in several Berlin districts, with broadcast slated for early 2027.

Vox is rebroadcasting episode 39 of the crime documentary "Medical Detectives – Geheimnisse der Gerichtsmedizin" ("Zeugen der Opfer") online via its Mediathek, following its original TV airing on 18 June 2026.
