Germany’s Handcraft Sector Unveils September Digital Event and July Career Fair

Palette CAD announced the online "Hands On Handwerk 2026" event for 22‑23 September 2026. Around 20 speakers – including digitalisation expert Thorsten Moortz and companies such as Blum, Häfele, Holz‑Her and Creative Partner – will present keynotes and interviews on improving workflows, AI and automation, and increasing online visibility. The organizer says the programme makes digitalisation “tangible for the entire sector.”

The Agentur für Arbeit and Jobcenter Lübeck will host the "Messe Handfest" career fair on 2 July 2026 at the DEKRA Akademie in Lübeck. The free event offers apprentices, qualified workers and career‑switchers hands‑on insight into more than 150 craft professions, with activities like a forklift‑parcours, welding demos and VR‑guided tours. exhibitors include industry groups, training providers and local companies.
