Spain Eurojackpot winner scoops €71.2 million, highest ever in country
On 24 July 2026 the Eurojackpot draw was won by a single ticket purchased in the province of Lleida, Catalonia, Spain. The ticket matched all five main numbers 4‑6‑8‑17‑22 and both Euro numbers 7‑10, securing a prize of €71,262,143.10. This amount is the largest Eurojackpot win ever recorded in Spain, beating the previous national record of roughly €38 million set in August 2020.
German players also benefited from the same draw. Three tickets in the German states of Hessen, Niedersachsen and Nordrhein‑Westfalen each hit five main numbers and one Euro number, earning €760,078.80 in the second‑tier prize. A further 24 participants across Europe matched five main numbers without a Euro number and received €53,581.10 each. The next Eurojackpot draw is scheduled for 28 July, restarting with a €10 million jackpot.
