Germany’s Spiel 77 Lottery Supplement Explained

Spiel 77 is a supplementary lottery offered by the German state lottery societies since the 1970s. It can only be played in conjunction with a main lottery ticket such as Lotto 6 aus 49, Eurojackpot, Toto, Bingo or Glücksspirale, and is not available as a stand‑alone game. Each ticket receives a seven‑digit number that participates in every draw; players may also select the digits online. Draws for Spiel 77 occur twice a week together with the main lottery draws. Winning is determined solely by how many trailing digits of the player’s number match the drawn seven‑digit winning number, independent of the main lottery results. Matching more trailing digits raises the prize level, with a full seven‑digit match delivering the top prize. Results are archived and publicly available.
