Germany's 2026 Summer Nail Trends: Caviar, Minimal and Naked Styles

The German beauty press reports that the summer 2026 nail season will be dominated by three distinct trends. "Caviar Nails" feature tiny micro‑beads arranged in 3D fruit, vegetable or floral motifs. The design is built on a thin layer of build‑gel, cured under a UV/LED lamp, then the beads are placed with tweezers and sealed with a clear top coat.

"Minimal Nails" replace the classic French tip with a sheer, transparent gel that lets the natural nail colour show through. The effect creates a soft, French‑like sheen without a crisp white edge, and the gel can last up to four weeks.

The third trend, "Naked Nails," emphasizes a barely‑tinted, natural look. A thin, transparent or pink‑tinged gel smooths the nail surface, giving a healthy gloss while keeping the colour palette neutral. The style is paired with short or moderately‑long nail shapes for everyday wear.

Together, these trends illustrate a shift toward both elaborate 3D decoration and understated, natural finishes in German summer nail fashion.
