Germany’s top sights and Dutch food insights draw travelers

Germany offers a wide range of attractions, from the North Sea and Baltic Sea coastlines and the island of Sylt to historic sites such as Neuschwanstein Castle, Heidelberg Castle, the baroque Frauenkirche in Dresden and the UNESCO‑listed Sanssouci Palace in Potsdam, complemented by modern shopping in Berlin.

German expatriate Sonia, known on Instagram as “Sonnie in Holland”, compares everyday products in the Netherlands with those in Germany, noting cheaper potatoes and apples, higher prices for cigarettes and fuel, and that she finds Dutch Fanta, dairy and other foods taste better.
