Germany's ZDF Fernsehgarten marks 40‑year anniversary with live show on June 7

ZDF’s long‑running entertainment program Fernsehgarten will air a special live edition on Sunday, 7 June 2026, to celebrate its 40‑year milestone. The broadcast, hosted by Andrea Kiewel, begins at 12:00 CET on the ZDF channel and runs until approximately 14:00, with a simultaneous livestream on the ZDF‑Mediathek.

The episode’s theme, “Vier Jahrzehnte‑Mix”, will showcase a retrospective of four decades of music and culture. Scheduled guests include the 1980s Neue Deutsche Welle band Spider Murphy Gang, schlager singer Nino de Angelo, Dutch Euro‑dance star Loona, German pop‑rock group Fools Garden, Euro‑dance project Captain Jack, Swiss musician Nickless, a pop‑divas collaboration, and British tenor Paul Potts. Former TV presenter Ramona Leiß will appear as an honorary guest. The show will feature a mix of musical performances, nostalgic segments, fashion, classic cars and sport highlights, honoring the programme’s history.
