Germencik figs gain international attention via celebrities and influencers

The figs of Germencik are gaining significant recognition through social media and celebrity endorsements. Turkish singer Aydilge recently praised the district’s world-famous figs on social media, thanking Germencik Mayor Burak Zencirci and expressing her intention to perform a concert in the area soon.

This follows similar praise from artist Murat Dalkılıç. The promotion of the local product has also taken an international turn; Chinese influencers Da Hui and Aisha were hosted by the Germencik Municipality to promote dried figs and strengthen Turkey-China relations. These efforts, including live connections with China, aim to increase the international visibility of the district’s gastronomic value.
