Germignaga clarifies Parco Boschetto parking project

The municipality of Germignaga has released technical details regarding a new parking project in the Parco Boschetto area to address recent public concerns. The project includes 12 car spaces, one space reserved for people with disabilities, and five motorcycle stalls.

The intervention will cover 406 square meters, representing approximately 2.79% of the total 14,500 square meter park area. The administration noted that the targeted site is partially paved and located between private property and a dog exercise area.

To address concerns regarding tree removal, the municipality clarified that one lime tree and one maple tree will be removed, rather than plane trees. As part of an environmental compensation plan, new trees suitable for the local context will be planted to support biodiversity.
