Germán Cano discusses potential Libertadores final against Flamengo

Fluminense striker Germán Cano participated in the Conmebol Libertadores Experience event in Rio de Janeiro, where he raised the tournament trophy in front of supporters.

During the event, Cano commented on the possibility of a 'Fla-Flu' final between rivals Fluminense and Flamengo. He noted that all four remaining contenders—Fluminense, Palmeiras, Flamengo, and Estudiantes—have a chance to reach the final, stating, “Why not? Everyone can pass. We know that the four who are there can reach the final and for us it would be something special.”

Cano, who was the top scorer and best player during Fluminense’s 2023 championship run, is currently seeking to defend the title. Fluminense is scheduled to face Palmeiras in the semifinals.
