Gernika-Lumo House of Culture announces 2026-2027 workshops

The House of Culture in Gernika-Lumo has opened registration for its 2026-2027 course programming. The curriculum focuses on artistic training and community participation through workshops for various ages and profiles.

Scheduled to run from October to June, the program includes established courses such as painting, drawing, wood carving, jewelry, and decorative arts. New additions include a workshop focused on local heritage and a specific program for individuals with functional diversity. A notable new free workshop, ‘Cuéntame esta imagen’, will be facilitated by Aldaba to help participants identify and learn about the heritage of Gernika-Lumo through images.

Registration is currently open, with preference given to residents of Gernika-Lumo. Fees vary by course, with reduced rates available for pensioners and the unemployed.
