Gerresheimer AG: Uwe Röhrhoff steps down as interim CEO
Uwe Röhrhoff has stepped down from his position as interim CEO of Gerresheimer AG at his own request. He had been serving in the role since November 1, 2025, with a term originally scheduled to end no later than October 2026.
Following his departure, CFO Wolf Lehmann and Management Board member Achim Schalk will assume his duties until further notice. Röhrhoff’s tenure included efforts to stabilize the company and optimize its capital structure, notably through the July 2026 agreement to sell the U.S. subsidiary Centor and the global Primary Packaging Plastics business.
The leadership change occurs during a period of structural transition for the packaging specialist. The company has recently faced challenges, including a downward revision of its annual forecast and ongoing scrutiny regarding 2024 accounting issues related to Bill-and-Hold transactions, which are currently under investigation by BaFin.
