Gerry Scotti hosts 'La Ruota della Fortuna' second‑chance episode as marriage rumors are denied

On May 17, the Italian game show "La Ruota della Fortuna" aired a special "Seconda Chance" episode. Returning contestants Ilaria, an interior designer from Seregno, Ettore, a sports‑science teacher, and Arianna, a law graduate from Verona, competed for cash prizes. Ilaria ultimately won the night with a total of €11,800 after solving the final "Cruciruota" question, while Ettore and Arianna earned €6,000 and €4,400 respectively.

The programme was presented by longtime host Gerry Scotti alongside co‑presenter Samira Lui. During the broadcast, a rumor circulated on social media suggesting that Scotti was about to get married, a claim that originated from a contestant’s comment and was later clarified as unfounded. Scotti publicly dismissed the wedding speculation, confirming that no marriage plans exist.

The episode featured the usual game segments, including the "Round Musicale" and "Triplete," and highlighted the show's continuing popularity in Italy.
