Panathinaikos AKTOR begins season preparations under Željko Obradović
Panathinaikos AKTOR has officially commenced preparations for the new basketball season, marked by the return of head coach Željko Obradović. During the team’s Media Day and initial training sessions at the Telekom Center, key figures emphasized the club’s unique culture and the high expectations for the upcoming year.
Captain Kostas Sloukas noted that winning titles is an obligation at Panathinaikos, expressing enthusiasm for Obradović’s leadership while acknowledging the transition from previous coach Ergin Ataman. Obradović highlighted the importance of team unity and daily hard work, noting that while several players are currently away on national team duties and Kendrick Nunn is managing a health issue, the staff is focused on building a cohesive unit.
