Gerwyn Price defeats Sebastian Bialecki at World Grand Prix

Gerwyn Price advanced to the second round of the World Grand Prix 2026 after a 2-0 victory over debutant Sebastian Bialecki. Price maintained a high level of play, recording an average of over 101 and hitting two 120 checkouts during the match.

Following the win, Price criticized the preparation conditions during the recent World Series of Darts Finals, describing the scheduling as a “p***take” due to the limited time provided between games compared to other players. Despite his frustrations with tournament formats, Price noted that recent changes to his equipment, specifically new switch points and a different barrel shape, have improved his scoring and doubling accuracy.
