Gerwyn Price overtakes Luke Littler in PDC Form Guide

Gerwyn Price has overtaken Luke Littler as the top-ranked player in the PDC Form Guide, according to analysis by statistician Christopher Kempf. This marks the first time in six months that Littler has lost the top spot. The shift follows the World Series of Darts Finals in Amsterdam, where Littler’s averages were lower than his previous exceptional performances.

Price leads in both average and OChE statistics, bolstered by strong setup play and a high number of 140s. Meanwhile, Ross Smith has shown significant form, winning the World Series of Darts Finals and maintaining a high rate of finishing legs within 21 darts. Jonny Clayton also remains a notable contender for the upcoming World Grand Prix due to high finishing percentages on doubles.

Separately, Luke Littler faces potential financial consequences regarding the 2027 PDC tournament schedule. Following his decision to boycott certain events in Germany and the Netherlands due to hostile crowds in Amsterdam, Littler may miss out on significant prize money if his boycott extends to the 2027 European Tour circuit.
