Getafe CF midfielders Javi Muñoz and Nemanja Gudelj involved in transfer moves

Spanish football clubs Getafe CF and UD Almería are making significant moves in the transfer market involving experienced midfielders.

UD Almería has reached an agreement with Getafe CF to sign Javi Muñoz on a free transfer. The 31-year-old midfielder, who previously played for clubs including Real Oviedo and SD Eibar, has signed a contract with Almería until June 2028. His arrival is intended to strengthen the midfield following the departures of Iddrisu Baba, Dion Lopy, and André Horta. This marks Almería's tenth signing of the summer window.

Meanwhile, Getafe CF is in the final stages of negotiating the signing of Serbian midfielder Nemanja Gudelj. Gudelj is expected to join the club as a free agent, providing versatility and experience to the squad. The deal is nearing completion as the club seeks to finalize contractual details.
