Getafe makes official offer to sign Jadon Sancho

Spanish La Liga club Getafe has submitted an official offer to sign free agent Jadon Sancho. The 26-year-old winger, who has been without a club since his contract with Manchester United expired in June, is a primary target for manager José Bordalás.

While the move would not require a transfer fee, Sancho’s salary expectations—reportedly around €4 million per year—pose a significant financial challenge for the Madrid-based club. Getafe is currently exploring various financial formulas to make the deal viable, including potentially utilizing salary cap flexibility or managing existing player registrations.

Sancho’s recent career includes loan spells at Borussia Dortmund, Chelsea, and Aston Villa. Getafe aims to replicate the successful career resurgence seen by former Manchester United player Mason Greenwood during his time in La Liga.
