Geumcheon-gu to recruit residents for 2050 urban planning initiative

Geumcheon-gu is recruiting approximately 100 residents to join the ‘2050 Geumcheon Plan’ citizen planning group. The recruitment period runs from October 26 to November 13.

The initiative aims to establish a long-term vision for the district by 2050, focusing on development directions and core projects for the Gasan, Doksan, and Siheung residential areas. The plan will integrate existing development and renovation projects with infrastructure improvements in roads, transportation, and parks.

Eligible applicants include Geumcheon residents or employees of businesses located within the district. Selected members will participate in workshops starting in December to discuss local issues and future development until the plan is finalized. Results will be announced individually on November 20.
