Gevgelija hosts fourth edition of Taste the South festival

The fourth edition of the ‘Taste the South’ gastronomic and music festival concluded in Gevgelija, held from September 11 to 13 at Mega Shopping Park. Supported by the Gevgelija Municipality, the event showcased traditional southern flavors, local specialties, and Macedonian wines.

Activities included demonstrations of traditional food preparation, such as making ajvar from roasted peppers and preparing rakija and fig specialties. The festival featured various local producers and wineries. The musical program included diverse performances ranging from folk ensembles to contemporary artists, concluding with a concert by Karolina Gočeva.
