Gewista appoints new ESG Manager to strengthen sustainability

Gewista, the Austrian leader in the out-of-home advertising market, has appointed Sophie Hilbert as its new ESG Manager to strengthen its environmental, social, and governance agendas. Hilbert, who previously worked at KPMG Sustainability Services, will focus on sustainability development, ESG reporting, and corporate responsibility.

As part of this appointment, Gewista is reorganizing to anchor ESG topics more closely within the Human Resources department. This move aims to integrate sustainability more deeply with organizational development, social responsibility, and governance issues. CEO Franz Solta stated that ESG is a central component of responsible corporate management for the company, which is part of the JCDecaux Group.
