Geyve completes mural project in Alifuatpaşa underpass

The Alifuatpaşa Şehit Muhsin Demirtaş Underpass in Geyve, Sakarya, has been decorated with artistic wall motifs designed to showcase the district's historical, cultural, and national values. The project aims to enhance the aesthetic appearance of the area while promoting local heritage.

The murals feature local landmarks and symbols, including the Doğançay Waterfall, Elvan Bey Imaret, the Geyve Quince, and the 2nd Beyazıt Bridge. Additionally, the artwork incorporates significant Turkish national defense projects, such as the TCG Anadolu (L-400) and the KAAN national combat aircraft developed by Turkish Aerospace Industries (TUSAŞ).

Geyve Mayor Yıldız inspected the completed works, stating that the municipality will continue to implement projects that preserve cultural values and improve the district's visual appeal.
