Gezira El Ward Club elects new board for 2026/2030 term

The elections for the Gezira El Ward Sports Club board of directors for the 2026/2030 term have concluded in Mansoura, Egypt. Representative Tarek Abdel Hadi secured the position of club president by acclamation.

In the contested races, Shady Mohamed El-Mahdi won the vice presidency with 5,936 votes, defeating Ahmed El-Hossy. Hatem Abdel Rahim was elected treasurer with 6,255 votes. The board members for the senior category include Hisham Abdel Maqsoud, Hossam Ayman Nour, Mohamed Fouad, Ibrahim Mostafa, Sherif El-Mazahi, and Mohamed Saad Abdullah. For the junior category, the winners are Omar Bahriz, Ahmed Hani El-Bakri, and Ayman Zekri.

The election process, which involved 34,585 eligible voters across 60 sub-committees, was conducted under full judicial supervision. Dr. Mahmoud Abdel Azim, the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Youth and Sports in Dakahlia, monitored the proceedings to ensure organizational and administrative compliance.
