GFiber technician arrested for allegedly stealing customer's private video

Logan Edward Gray-McCannon, a 37-year-old internet installer, was arrested in Hemet, California, following allegations that he sent a customer's private, sexually explicit video to himself during a service call.

According to the Irvine Police Department, the incident occurred in August when Gray-McCannon, working as a contractor for ITC Service Group Acquisition on behalf of GFiber, requested the victim's cellphone to perform connectivity tests. During the installation, he allegedly located an intimate video on the device and forwarded it to his own number via iMessage. Although he deleted the message from the victim's phone, she discovered the transaction through a synced iPad.

Gray-McCannon was arrested on September 11 and booked into the Orange County Jail on charges including commercial burglary, unauthorized computer access, and distributing private sexual images without consent. Investigators believe there may be additional victims and are continuing their investigation.
