GGPEN opens registration for World Space Week 2026 in Angola

The National Space Program Management Office (GGPEN) has opened registration for activities scheduled for World Space Week 2026, taking place from October 4 to 10. The event follows the international theme ‘Rocket Revolution’ and the national subtheme ‘Space as a Driver of Development: Connectivity, Knowledge and Opportunities for Angola.’

Targeting citizens, educational institutions, companies, and civil society organizations, the initiative aims to showcase the role of space technology in national development. Participants can propose various activities, including lectures, exhibitions, workshops, technological demonstrations, and scientific competitions. The program is promoted by the Ministry of Telecommunications, Information Technologies and Social Communication through GGPEN to mobilize Angolan society through educational, scientific, and cultural initiatives.
