Ghada Ibrahim criticizes Wikipedia over incorrect birth date

Egyptian actress Ghada Ibrahim has expressed strong dissatisfaction with Wikipedia regarding inaccuracies in her biographical data, specifically concerning her birth year. Ibrahim took to Facebook to criticize the platform, describing the incorrect information as “cheating, deception, and blatant forgery.”

According to the site's entries, Ibrahim was listed as being born in 1953, which would make her 73 years old. The actress questioned the reliability and review process of the encyclopedia, noting that it was illogical for her to appear older than other prominent stars like Nadia El Gendy and Nabila Obeid.

Following her public outcry, users pointed out that Wikipedia content is maintained by volunteers, which can lead to errors. The biographical data was subsequently corrected to reflect her actual birth year of 1972.
