Ghana Airports Company Limited wins global awards for Accra International Airport

Ghana Airports Company Limited (GACL) has received two awards at the 8th Airports Council International (ACI) World Airport Experience Summit held in Istanbul, Turkey.

Accra International Airport (AIA) was named the Best Airport at Departures in Africa within the 2-5 million passengers category. Additionally, the airport earned a Level 1 Customer Experience Accreditation.

Managing Director Yvonne Nana Afriyie Opare attributed the recognition to the teamwork and collaboration of stakeholders within the airport ecosystem, stating that the awards serve as a reminder to continue improving service standards.
