Ghana Comedy Awards 2026 Set for August 1st Celebration in Accra

The 6th Ghana Comedy Awards will take place on 1 August 2026 at the College of Physicians and Surgeons in Ridge, Accra. Hosted by popular radio personality Kwame Dadzie and organized by Creative Republic Limited, the ceremony will honour comedians for work performed between 1 January 2025 and 31 December 2025.

A line‑up featuring Lekzy, Jeneral Ntatia, Kojo PJay, Oh Joo, Alo Wess, Ranzy Ray, Jerry Ashinyo and other top performers is expected, alongside musical acts. Ticket prices are GH¢200 for Silver seats and GH¢300 for Gold seats, and voting for nominees (announced 10 July 2026) closes at 6:00 am on the event day via *713*33*009#.

Award categories include Comedy Actor of the Year, Comedy Actress of the Year, Comic Writer of the Year and Comic TV/Radio Programme of the Year, highlighting the breadth of Ghana’s comedy industry.
