Ghana Education Service releases 2026/2027 SHS admission prospectus

The Ghana Education Service (GES) has released the National Harmonised Prospectus for students enrolling in Senior High and Senior High Technical Schools (SHS/SHTS) for the 2026/2027 academic year. The initiative is designed to create a standardized and transparent admission process across all public secondary schools in the country.

The prospectus outlines specific requirements for different student types. Day students are required to provide items such as mathematical sets, scientific calculators, school bags, and specific footwear.

Boarding students face more extensive requirements, including bedding, storage items like trunks or chop boxes, cutlery, and various personal clothing items. The guidelines also specify necessary toiletries and academic supplies to ensure all students are prepared ahead of official school placements.
