Ghana family disputes funeral plans for late Apostle Kwadwo Safo Kantanka

The family of the late Apostle Prof. Dr. Emeritus Kwadwo Safo Kantanka, founder of the Kantanka Group, says no official burial date has been set and that ongoing consultations will determine the funeral programme.

A family source alleges that Hon. Sarah Adwoa Safo, the apostle’s daughter, demanded GH₵3.7 million for the preparations, a claim the wider family rejects. The family urges the public to ignore viral posts and invitation cards circulating with proposed dates such as July 30, July 31 and August 28 2026, stating, “The Family has announced no official date for the burial and final funeral rites.”
