Ghana Football Association warns against unauthorized World Cup ticket vendor
The Ghana Football Association (GFA), acting on FIFA’s request, issued a public warning about Match Experience Hospitality (MEH), a company selling World Cup 2026 ticketing, hospitality and travel packages without any official FIFA authorization. FIFA has lodged a petition with Ghana’s Criminal Investigations Department to investigate the alleged ambush‑marketing scheme and urged fans to use only official FIFA channels. The GFA stated, "The GFA reiterates its commitment to protecting the integrity of football operations in Ghana."
Meanwhile, Accra Brewery PLC launched its Club Lager "Cheers To Our Chales" World Cup campaign at the Accra City Hotel. The event unveiled a special World Cup jersey, labelled as the "Fabric of Our Chales," and announced nationwide promotions, goal‑post activations and viewing parties. Marketing lead Vanessa Kavi said, "Football is more than a game. It brings us joy, hope, excitement, and sometimes disappointment," adding that the campaign aims to celebrate responsibly and rally support for the Black Stars.
