Ghana midfielder Bright Addae signs with Italy's Real Aversa

Former Ghana U20 international Bright Christopher Addae has joined Italian Serie D side Real Aversa 1925 on a one‑year contract ahead of the 2026/27 season. The 33‑year‑old midfielder arrives after captaining Nardò, where he made 96 appearances and helped the club reach the playoffs.

Addae brings more than 400 official appearances in Italian football, including 163 matches in Serie B for clubs such as Ascoli and Juve Stabia, 50 games in Serie C and roughly 150 in Serie D. Real Aversa described the signing as a major statement of ambition, saying it "raises the bar, ignites the enthusiasm of the city and sends a strong message to the entire championship."
