Ghana National Fire Service contains container fire in Teshie

The Ghana National Fire Service (GNFS) has contained a fire involving several commercial containers at Ebenezer Junction on the Teshie Lekma Road, located near Lekma Hospital.

The blaze affected containers used for various commercial activities, including a vulcaniser's container that reportedly sustained significant damage. To combat the outbreak, the GNFS deployed three fire appliances from the Trade Fair, Kasapreko, and National Headquarters Fire Stations.

While the fire is currently under control, salvage operations are ongoing to prevent reignition. The cause of the fire and the total extent of property damage have not yet been disclosed as the Fire Service continues its assessment.
