Ghana Police IGP promotes 25 officers for crime-fighting excellence
Inspector General of Police Christian Tetteh Yohuno has promoted 25 officers in recognition of exceptional performance in combating crime across the Bono East, Tema, and Western Central Police Regions.
The promotions follow several high-profile successes, including the arrest of six suspects involved in a GH¢300,000 robbery on the Kintampo-Buipe Highway, the apprehension of a robbery syndicate in the Tarkwa area, and the interception of 866 parcels of suspected cocaine at Tema Harbour.
Among those promoted are Chief Inspectors Bede Nwinbomeh and Joe Tetteh, who have both received automatic entry to the Police Academy. The Inspector General and the Police Management Board (POMAB) commended the officers for their professionalism and bravery, stating that the administration will continue to reward hard work and dedication.
