Ghana readies for 2026 World Cup with friendly against Wales

The Ghana national football team will face Wales in a warm‑up friendly on 3 June 2026 at Cardiff City Stadium. The match, scheduled for 09:45 Cairo time (10:45 Abu Dhabi time), is part of Ghana’s final preparations for the 2026 FIFA World Cup, which will be co‑hosted by the United States, Canada and Mexico.

Coach Carlos Queiroz has confirmed a provisional squad that includes midfielders Thomas Partey, Antoine Semenyo and other Europe‑based players such as Brandon Thomas Asante and Antoine Semenyo. The friendly offers an opportunity to fine‑tune tactics and assess player fitness ahead of Ghana’s Group A opener against Panama in Toronto on 17 June.

The game will be broadcast across the MENA region on beIN Sports 1, with live streaming available via the beIN CONNECT platform. Ghana’s supporters will watch closely to gauge the team’s form before the tournament begins.
