Ghana Revenue Authority probes airport extortion allegations
The Ghana Revenue Authority (GRA) has launched an investigation into allegations of extortion at the Accra International Airport. The probe follows a social media video by TikTok creator Lady Rev. Adwoa Pretty, who claims a customs officer collected GH¢600 from her without providing a receipt.
The GRA stated it is investigating the circumstances of the alleged payment to uphold integrity and professionalism. The authority has requested that the public await the official findings before drawing conclusions.
